Greystone Drawers

This beautiful chest of drawers were inspired by the work of Gustav Stickly of the American Arts and Crafts movement. My client loved his work and wanted a piece sympathetic in style. Made from American Cherry and Maple, the drawers are fitted with rosewood draw pulls and have a string inlay detail in Abalone shell. Traditional cabinet making techniques are used throughout, with traditional hand cut dovetail draws mounted on soft close silky smooth drawer runners. The piece has a Danish oil finish which brings out the spectacular deep rich colour of the Cherry wood contrasted by the pale creamy maple, the dark rosewood handles and the sparkling shell inlays
